Round 12- The post origin hangover

Post by Hopoate on Fri May 30, 2014 5:29 am

My team is mostly broken and enjoying the bye so normal transmission should resume for the lowly merks against the high flying hipsters

Plus wins for LFBs, drags, zooms and jafs. Painfully predictable.

Technically not posted in the right thread, but I'll accept it. Thought I was almost going to get away with it for free, but Log Challenge on!

Fortunately for Sipp, how is it that for the second time this season, I have to play him whilst kickerless? Fucking bullshit if you ask me. Even with a near full strength line-up, our missing dogs players will be felt. Unlike Sipp's latest player aquisitions, who will not be noticed by anyone this weekend, particularly the scorer. You must be a little worried if he had to rush out and buy Sami Saulima...

Nothing comes that easy in life mate. Oh boohoo I dont have my dogs players, neither do I mate so no excuse there chap.

You better hope the cowboys don't put a cricket score on a storm team that are struggling to field a 17. This match could be over by Saturday night.

Whats that old saying about people in glass houses. I dont think rushing out to buy tonga's injury cover Ryan Morgan is any better than buying slamming Sami.

Zooms might be able to field a fairly decent 17 this week. Not that it should take that many to dispose of the AWOL OA...

Pete,  I think you missed my point.  Just to make it clear:  I don't have a kicker.  Again.  You do.  Again.  Advantage LFB.  Again.

Sippid wrote:Who scarily enough has provided more input than the Jaffs and Mu of late!!!

Speaking of which, check the member's list at the top of the page.  Jaff's last visit was the 28th of April, Mu's last visit was a mere day later on the 29th.  That's over a month with no forum visits, from two founding members of this league.  For shame Fidders.  At least Sackerman has a minor excuse.

wasssup. I have been a bit quieter this last couple of weeks but as soon as Danny said he was playing without his knickers this week I got excited. Until I realised I had mis read.

From excitement about fielding a solid team last week, this week looks a bit harder. It's always a bad omen when you start the friday night with 3 points and that was Ivan "I did't think tries got you 3 points oh that's right he is coach" Cleary.

Good to see the mid season boredom get churned up with a bit of casual racism from Warren and David. Them and One Direction have a bit in common....but in the best news of the week

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/celebritynews/10847633/Geoffrey-Boycott-meets-tops-singer-Katy-Perry.html

And in final news, I have my cricket debut for the Fleet Street Strollers tomorrow. I'll be the guy not bowling or batting and standing at 3rd man.

I will say the favourites will win this week too

Scorers didn't notice he played most of the game in the centres, and shouldn't have got a DF...

Dragons in a cake walk - even without a kicker.

Without Brett Morris and Dave Taylor, Tim might struggle to bother the scorers at all.

Tupou, Mansour, Radradra, Taufua, Hiku and Richards have all scored 7 tries or more this season. That's 49 tries and 28 PP points (more to come from Tupou today) so far this season in 11.5 rounds. My backline is keeping me in this comp...

Tough luck on Peats there Ricardo, good job you didnt trade away Luke I guess.

We all know maths isn't my strong suit but am I right in thinking that the tractors could slip to as far as 6th on the ladder after this round of footy?

Zooms on the charge, could crack fifty on a bye week. As expected, all the favorites looking more than likely. Next week will be a good shake up though with the top six all playing each other with full squads while the bottom four fight it out to stay in touch

Can't argue with that! Thought Merry might get them up, but clearly not.

Souths weren't looking that good either - they should have put 50 on them.

Well, not quite the spanking that was shaping up to be at one stage, but fair dues to Sauiluma, Rapira and co, the LFB's roll on for another win.

Here in Remuera we've taken some consolation from staying in the top 5, and keeping the Drags out, but that's 3 losses in a row now. This week, with a full strength squad, there will be no excuses as we go into Rivalry Round 2.

You realise that we are playing in a top 6 competition.

Dragons happy with all 7 forwards scoring Defensive forwards this week, and that was without Tariq, Douglas, Carter and Fulton playing.

I've circled my rivalry round retribution in a couple of months back. Looking forward to putting Peter Plumb in his place.

Those stats are all very well and good James but if you want to be a black cap you're going to have to learn how rig a match for bookies first
