Representative Round Stats Fest

Post by Alcoholics Unanimous on Wed Apr 30, 2014 8:56 pm

Yes, Round 8 has barely even finished, but with over a week to wait until the next round of NNRL, no work, a well behaved sleeping baby (so far) and only a lop-sided Anzac Test to keep me amused until then, it’s time for a Stats Fest...

nice work Danny, outstanding analysis! You're the Billy Beane of NNRL!

Quite dangerous though as it really is an eye opener what's wrong with the squads, i can see some big changes a coming for a lot of us!

TOA is struggling on all counts apart from Cooper. Pretty obvious but it really highlights the issues looking at it like this. There needs to be some serious changes!

On a high level, looks like the Zooms are statistically doing well but under performing on the table. They are my pick for the minor premier

Cooper or Smith?

I did think twice about posting this, but there are not many, if any, decent players left on the market, so there is not a whole lot of scope left for wholesale changes, barring trades.

yeah sorry I meant Cam and wrote Cooper.

That's a good shout, although it highlights some trade ideas ie who to drop, there is no one to buy! Apart from Benji.

Ben Barba a worse protected player than Kevin Kingston - oh the shame!!!

Top effort there Danny.

I think how good your PPs and top 3 draft picks are the crucial factor, and the Drags top crew just aren't performing.

Sensational play there Danny.

Someone give that man the Log of Hood for that effort.

Interesting to see the Tractors forward pack carrying them along, whilst the Karruptas pack, performing just as well, hasn't been enough. Encouraging signs for Mu that his season isn't over yet.

And look out .. T-Rex is back, scoring 1pt AF's this season like it ain't no thang!

How about Foran, Luke and Leuluia?!

Needed more attacking options and somebody to share kicking duties. We definitely had enough time n the red zone in the second half.

Harris and Havili impressive
